Unleash your child's creativity in our fun and engaging Ceramics Class! This hands-on workshop introduces young artists to the world of clay, where they’ll explore both handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques. Through guided instruction, kids will create unique pottery pieces from start to finish, learning the art of shaping, molding, and glazing their creations. What to Expect: Handbuilding: Students will start with the basics of handbuilding, using simple tools and their hands to form sculptures, bowls, and other creative pieces. They'll learn techniques like coil building and pinch pots, allowing their imagination to take shape. Wheel Throwing: Once they’re comfortable with the basics, kids will get to try their hand at the potter’s wheel. They'll discover the thrill of spinning clay to create functional and artistic pieces like mugs, bowls, and vases. This class encourages creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills while fostering a love for art and self-expression. Each session concludes with a chance to see their work come to life after being fired and glazed in vibrant colors! Perfect for young artists aged 5-12, this ceramics class offers a fun and supportive environment for kids to explore the art of pottery. Join us and let your child discover the magic of clay!
